Introduction for F800/F818 reader main screen
what does everything means on the screen
- Current race name. After race setting on website and downloaded to reader, it will show the race name here.
- Event ID, same as 1, each race will have a unique race ID.
- Machine ID, that's the reader number, also showing on the stickers.
- Position, reader's position previously set on website, eg 5KM start/10KM finish/marathon 5KM point etc.
- Software V., software version
- DataInWait, means how many data is waiting to be uploaded to server.
- Time select Max/Min means choosing the last/first data record for the runner, when there are multiple readings when cross the point, it's set on website.
- Local T, means local time, always have to make sure the time is same as local time before race start. Can sync web time in time setting.
- Tag Total, means how many readings/data records in total.
- Passed T. means how much time passed after pressed the Gun Start, so you know race has started for how much time.
- Tag Diff, it records how many different tags reader has read. eg, reader read 2 tags for 10 times, then tag diff is 2, tag total is 10.
- Gun Time, record the time when press gun start.
- Server, it will show server status, is the reader connected to server or not. If it's connected to server, the data will be uploaded to server, the number showing at DataInWait will be decreasing to zero eventually, after all data uploaded.
- CH1234, means reader 1 status, reading / stopped. The antenna port 1234 must connect to antenna before start reading, or turn off the unconnected port.
- CH5678, means reader 2 status, reading / stopped. The antenna port 5678 must connect to antenna before start reading, or turn off the unconnected port.
- Com port.
- Bat life, battery life, shows current battery capacity.
- Gun start, can press it when race start, would know the exact start time. Can record that time, and update on website race setting later.
- Gun Reset, press it to clear the gun start time.
- Config, click config button to do more setting
- Reset Data Display, it will clear the tag total, tag diff(will start count from 0 again) and the data on right side of screen.
- The data area, it will show the status change of the reader, and show the tag data in decimals(tag code is in hexadecimals).
- The antenna port 1~8, 1~4 is for reader 1, 5~8 is for reader 2. Can click on the unconnected port to turn the port off, it will change into blue color. Can turn off 3 port at max, at least one port must be on/in orange color when you want to start this reader reading.
