III. External Accessories

1. LF loop cable
LF loop cables are laid on the track where athletes pass through to activate active tags, enabling the tags to transmit information to the HF receiving module of active reader box. The max wearing height of the tag should not exceed 60 cm. For marathon type road events, it is recommended to wear it on the ankle. There are two common installation methods: (1) directly securing and affixing them to the track with mat adhesive; (2) embedding the coils inside specialized mats, which are then laid on the track.
2. HF antenna
Utilizing an omnidirectional high-gain 2.4GHz antenna, it is mounted on both sides of the LF loop cable to receive data transmitted by active chips. It is connected to the reader box via a HF antenna extension cable.
3. HF extension
Connects the HF antenna on the mounting bracket to the HF antenna of the A400 active reader box.
4. LF loop extension
Used to connect the LF loop cable junction box and the A400 active reader box's LF loop cable.
5. LF loop cable junction box
Used to connect the LF loop extension and the LF loop cable.
