The A400 reader set includes the following: High frequency antenna&cable&tripod, low frequency loop cable & extension cable, 4G&WIFI dongle Accessaries include charger and key.
- Can put high frequency antenna directly on reader. Better put the reader a bit high off the ground, to have better signal transmission. If the high frequency antenna is put on tripod, then it's ok to put reader directly on ground.
- The recommended loop width is 60CM for cycling races etc. For running races, can make the loop width around 30CM. The loop area has to be straight, as two parallel lines, the rest of the cable can stay wrapped.
- Need to put the high frequency antenna about one meter after the cable loop, so runner will pass cable loop first, the tags be activated, then send info to reader through high frequency antenna. If there are crowds near the HF antenna, can set the tripod higher, so the HF antenna shall not be blocked.
- Better to keep the HF antenna on tripod in a position that's perpendicular to the loop, for best signal transmission.
The tags must be put vertically wear on ankle, or vertically placed on bike. Because the antenna inside the tag is directional, it works well only when it's in right position.
