Ⅰ. Hardware Introduction

1. A complete T400 Ai System includes following products: T400 reader*1, Ai camera*4, network cable*4, camera installing sheet metal part*4.

Ⅱ. Connection and Installation

1. Open the outer box of T400 reader, open the transparent protective cover, press the red power button, turn on T400 reader, then enter the Ai timing program interface.
2. Using the black screws provided with Ai cameras, connect the four Ai cameras to the four mounting brackets and secure them in optimal positions.
3. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the white Ethernet port on the Ai camera, and connect the other end to the Ethernet port on T400 reader.
4. Click the Preview button on the interface to enter the camera preview frame. Switch between displaying individual or all four camera feeds connected to the reader by clicking CAM1, CAM2, CAM3, CAM4, and CAM ALL buttons.
5. When click a specific camera, the corresponding "CAM X" button will turn green. At this point, the viewing angle of the camera can be adjusted using the four directional buttons on the interface. While the "+" and "-" buttons are used to control the zoom magnification. It is generally recommended to set the camera magnification to its maximum level, which shows "Z004".
6. After individually adjusting each camera, click the CAM ALL button to display the view from all four cameras.
7. In T400 timing system backend, configure the information to be captured for this event, including the start time and the device ID. Once created, you will see the event ID(156).
8. Click the "Configure" button to access the Event Photo Settings interface. Here, you can set the event ID, specify the number of characters for bib number recognition, and define any English letters included in the bib numbers. Once configured, click "Save" to confirm your settings.
9. Click Advanced Settings to access the language switching interface, where you can configure the operating language between Chinese and English.
After completing the settings, click "Back" to exit. Once the program is closed and relaunched, the configured event ID and language have been updated on T400 interface. Click "Preview" again to view the camera feed.
10. Click the "Start" button to redirect to the identification interface. The top-left corner of the screen will display the shooting frame rate of each camera and the current time. If runners wearing bib numbers through the shooting area, T400 Ai system will capture and upload important frames—including the runners' recognition time, bibs identification time, and gender recognition time—to the backend.
11. You can view the various information of the runners by the Ai Assistant page in T400 backend.
